DANIEL MCGRATH, DIRECTOR

Daniel McGrath is an adjunct professor in the art department at Webster University in St. Louis. In 2005, he received his Master of Arts from Kings College at University of London. In 2000, he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from UCLA. He is now the director of Duet, St. Louis. McGrath was co-director of Isolation Room/Gallery Kit and Sweetboy Projects in Los Angeles and has organized exhibitions in St. Louis, Los Angeles, Copenhagen and Oxford, UK. He is a contributing art writer for Art Papers, Art US, Sculpture and Site 95. He has exhibited his work with Yarat Contemporary Art Space, Baku, Azerbaijan; The Fabrikken, Copenhagen; Hunter College MFA Studios, New York; Office Space, Los Angeles; SweetboyProjects, Los Angeles; Pirate, Burford, UK; Good Citizen, St. Louis; PSTL, St. Louis; Hunt Gallery, St. Louis and The Luminary Center for the Arts; St. Louis. He lives and works between Oxford, United Kingdom and St. Louis, Missouri.

 

EVE MARET, GALLERY ASSISTANT

Eve Maret received her BBA from Belmont University in December 2016. She exhibited a series of stills at the Old Orchard Gallery in St. Louis last February from her video series entitled Wake to You. Maret has created album artwork for a number of Nashville area bands has collaborated with filmmakers from the Southeast and Western US (Lost in the Supermarket, 2016 and INVOCATION, 2016), contributing both musical scores and sound design. Maret self-released her first album, Say So, in July 2016. Maret currently resides in Nashville, where she writes and performs music.

 

KATRYN DIERKSEN, GALLERY ASSISTANT

Katryn Dierksen received a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Missouri –St. Louis in August 2016. She is cofounder and co-editor of Bad Jacket, a St. Louis art and literature magazine. Her debut poetry collection, No More, Renaissance Man!, was released in June 2017, and is part of a Bad Jacket Chapbook Series authored individually by St. Louis writers set to release through 2017-2018.  Dierksen coordinates poetry and arts programming for Bad Jacket and Duet, such as open mic events, release parties, poetry readings, and gallery exhibitions.  Her visual work has been featured at 2720, RAWarts, Sole Survivor Gallery, Stone Spiral Gallery, and Old Orchard Gallery; and her writing has appeared in Apeiron Review, Bellerive, Brain Stew, Bad Jacket, and The Moon Zine.
